The Seashell Economy is a small project based in London, Ontario. What began as my love for thrifting and sustainable living (hi, I’m Doruntina Uka btw!) has taken shape into a collaborative experiment ~ featuring pieces from my own collection and, more recently, gems from the closets of friends and fellow thrifters who share this vision.

At The Seashell Economy, we believe that reusing is one of the most sustainable choices we can make. We're inspired by the idea of an alternative, circular economy, one that invites us to slow down, and appreciate what already exists.

Our clothes are sold at a set price, but if money is a barrier or you’d prefer to trade, feel free to reach out ~ we’re open to swaps and barters. We believe there are many ways to exchange, and we’re actively working to move away from a traditional capitalist model, figuring out what that looks like along the way.
